Practice makes perfect! Learning English is not difficult at all Read more, listen more, speak more. You have to use the language more in order to get the hang of it. Keep a vocab notebook to build up your vocab bank; otherwise you may find yourself using the same words repeatedly. Don't be afraid to make mistakes since we all learn from our mistakes.

Here is a question for anyone who takes time to browse through this post, and is also interested to  ...

I live in Hong Kong now. It is a bustling city since everybody leads a hectic life. Hong Kong is small and constantly crowded. People always say the night view of Hong Kong is spectacular, especially on The Peak and Victoria Habor, but I think it is rather mediocre since I prefer the city I was raised in:Vancouver, Canada. But anyhow, Hong Kong is rather polluted, with so many vehicles on the roads emitting exhaust fumes, and detestable people smoking non-stop. If you ask me, I seriously prefer Vancouver over Hong Kong.

I would like to know if this forum is deserted?? Seems like no one is responding to the posts...

It's long long time no visit an English group by web net since I've get graduation from senior high school.

About a week ago, i don't know why that i want to study English again. Maybe i already love this langue for long time ago, just have no time to use it from my work day that make me forget how i love it. And now in 2013, i make me a very small goal that when i fly to Australia to get meet with my boy friend, i should talk to his friend there by fluent in English....

Yesterday (Friday) I read about a Chinese cannibal killer in the newspaper. It's awfully disgusting! The psycho sold human flesh at local markets. But thank goodness he was put to death; otherwise there may be more victims >_< You can read the news here ( if you haven't heard of it):

I was wondering if anyone has tired these English android apps: Test Your English I, II, III, IV and Test Your Vocabulary; these apps are free, and the vocab words are taken from the US English proficiency tests: toefl toeic sat gre. Not only you use your phone to make calls, to check msgs and whasapp your friends but also to brush up on your English.

I have been quite interested in some foreign languages since I was young, such as English and Japanese. Due to these interests, I studied English(not only at school) and Japanese when I was in junior high. But unfortunately, I had to prepare for the BC test when I was in ninth grade, so I haven't practice my Japanese for a long time.Now, I am in CK high school and I can finally spend some time to improve my language skills again. I felt pretty happy about that.
