| In the company that I was in charge of hiring, we did not interview those who could not hold down a job for two years. In our calculation, the first three month in the company is the probation period where the new guy would be rotating in a few different groups of the department trying to fit in and contribute. The the next six month was for familiarizing with the project in a team that accepted him. If he could not be an independent contributor by the end of next year, then he would be notified to look for the next job. So, leaving a job in less than 2 years is an indication that he was a reject and we would put this candidate in lower priority. ...
